Online Dressage International Show Autumn League Final!

Our final show of the Spring league: simply check out our schedule on the 'Shows' page, choose your classes, purchase your entry and get practising. Check out our website to find out how to upload your video and if you have any questions at all, please just ask! Videos must be uploaded by midnight (whatever your timezone!) on Monday the 24th April, with our show day final releasing your results on the following Monday. Series C tests to be used. Rules below. 

1. League

You do not need to be part of the league to compete. You can enter shows at any time.

To be eligible for league prizes, the same horse / rider combination must compete in four out of six shows (one of which has to be the final).

League prizes will be awarded based on a points for percentages system.

Prizes will be awarded at the end of the league and these will be determined by the amount of entries in each class.

Entry in the Team league must be purchased separately to individual entries but covers the entire league. Teams of either three or four, with the best three results to count. Team league prizes will be awarded separately, alongside any other league prizes.

2. Tack and Turnout

Tack, bits and spurs must adhere to British Dressage rules (see link below to rule book), with the exception of the Bitless Dressage class and Lead Rein classes.

Your horse may wear boots but does not have to be plaited. Rider does not have to wear competition clothing unless desired. Hard hats and proper footwear and essential.

3. Arena

Your arena should be 20 metres by 40 metres or 20 x 60 metres. We provide long and short arena versions of all of our tests. Please specify your arena size when you make your entry. Check out our blog on how to mark out your arena correctly. You are more than welcome to mark out your arena in your field or other surface and can use poles, cones, buckets to denote dressage letters and corners.

4. Judging

All our judges are qualified in their relevant affiliated bodies across the globe and we endeavour to match judges' expertise with each class. The judge's decision is final. If there is an issue with your scoring, please alert us within 24 hours of receiving your test sheet.

5. Videoing Your Test

Whoever is videoing must stand at the letter C or the test will be invalidated. A smart phone is absolutely fine but it is your responsibility to make sure that horse and rider are visible at all points of the test. Video in landscape please. The sound must be turned on and the date of videoing must be stated at the start of the video. Please also state the name of the rider, horse and the test being ridden at the start of the video.

For the Freestyle to music class, music must be played live as the rider performs their test.

6. Class Restrictions

If you have scored over 65% three times in the Newcomers league, you must move into the Proficient league.

Horse and rider combinations may compete in two adjacent level classes, but cannot compete in classes two or more levels apart.

7. Refusal of Entry

Online Dressage International reserve the right to refuse entry, without any explanation.
