Online Dressage International Winter Championships

Online Dressage International are delighted to be hosting their Winter Championships - celebrating all of your successes in 2021.

Eligibility criteria: you must have scored 65% or over in your specified level in 2021. Previous Online Dressage International competitors will receive an email confirming their eligibility in the coming weeks. If you have not competed with us before, you must provide proof of two 65%+ scores in a dressage competition in 2021, either affiliated or unaffiliated. Please email onlinedressageinternational@gmail.com. If you have not qualified on this occasion, you are more than welcome to enter HC (where your test will be judged and scored, participation ribbon awarded but no placing will be given).

Format: you will ride your choice of two tests from your chosen level, selecting from the Online Dressage International Series of tests (A, B or C) OR from the WDAA tests if you are riding Western Dressage. One of the two tests MUST be from our brand new Championship series, now live on the website.

These Championship tests have been especially choreographed to offer a little extra challenge to our qualified riders so plenty to practise for. Your tests will be judged by two different judges and your scores combined for your overall Championship total.

Note: for our Elite riders, two tests may be ridden from our Elite Series, from adjacent levels e.g. Advanced plus PSG or PSG and Inter I etc.

Note: for our Freestyle to Music Championship, competitors will ride a classic dressage test PLUS their music arrangement from their specified level. Please let us know which affiliated body's requirements you are following for your dressage to music in advance.

Prizes: keep an eye out as we welcome our ODI Winter Championship prize sponsors over the coming weeks. We will also be awarding Championship rosettes for every placing, as well as prizes for both top Junior and Young Rider, Veteran Horse and Top Scorer. If you would like your horse to be considered in the veteran section, please specify with your entry. Horses must be 15 years plus and evidence must be provided along with your entry.

2022: let's start the brand new year as we mean to go on. 2021 has been a fabulous year and your progress has been inspiring to witness. What better New Year's Resolution than setting and achieving our dressage goals?

Any questions, drop us a message via social media (Instagram or Facebook) or email and follow our event on Facebook for regular updates and announcements. Click this link: https://fb.me/e/1vEXI9uny

Good luck and happy filming! We wish all of our hard working choreographers, fabulous judges and, of course, talented competitors and their horses a wonderful, peaceful holiday and a very happy New Year. It has been a real pleasure getting to know you all.

Love all the team at Online Dressage International x
